Season in the sun

Jesus,

I'm so tired, but anyway. I just want to give you a quick impression from our last days. Gothenburg is so awesome at the moment.

The spring arrived and everything is sooo green and colorful.

We try to be as much as possible outsite. Unfortunaly the rest of the 489.795 citizens of Gothenburg, too.
But we discovered the spirit of our backyard.

It's great for making breakfast....
concerts....
and Mediterranean evenings.

So, now time for sleeping. Some more impression from the awesome open-air-living room with Glockenspiel and HolyLisaHoly are following, soon!!!

Good Night !!!

The Times They Are A-Changin' Part 2

Oh,

I nearly forget to report from two really awesome events.
First The Beckmann imitate the nature and the trees and discard his winter coat!

We also escort Beccy to her hometown ROSTOCK, which is directly beside LUEBECK?!?!?
(You live and learn. ;O) )

Beccy was sooooooooooooo touched to see the places of her youth...at her times behind the WALL!!!
It was the most emotional thing beside "Gone with the Wind".
No comment about the "blind alley" sign the Rostock point at! :O)

"A Quest For Your Heart" - Björn Kleinhenz
The best 3:29 to welcome the spring!

YAA!!! is happy to announce that TOMT Recordings released "A Quest For Your Heart" as a free download single. "A Quest For Your Heart" is the first single from Björn Kleinhenz new album "Quietly Happy And Deep Inside".

After more than 10 tours across Europe, two full-length albums, three split EP's and a bunch of songs, Björn is back. His third album "Quietly Happy And Deep Inside" will be released this autumn.

"The Quest For Your Heart" is the perfect song for leaving the greyness of winter behind and welcoming the spring.
Now, listen to your heart and download the song here: http://www.tomtrecordings.se/mp3/Bjorn_Kleinhenz_-_The_Quest_For_Your_Heart.mp3

By the way: If you like the music from Björn, check out the "Sing Out!" album. Three songs each from Björn, Cedarwell (US) and Winter Took His Life (SWE) brought out to support their 3-in-1 tour early in 2008.
You probably find all you would look for in pop music within these nine songs. Björn himself is Rocking Out!
You have the option to pay what you like for this album. Feel free to make a small contribution.
Check out this wonderful piece of music here: http://shop.tomtrecordings.se/en/article.php?id=4507&art=580817

That´s all for now!

Rock On!!!

The Rock'n'Roll Days are over

11.04.2008

It´s all over now, Baby Blue. The Rock'n'Roll Days from The Fastén and Mr.Conin are over. They arrived safety back at the Tegnérgatan. Damn, that was a really great time on the road with the Preachers. They played awesome shows!

There were some great moments, from the smoky shacks of Leipzig to the fairytale-streets of Duderstadt and everything in between, all of them amazing. It was a good tour, they are very thankful to all you people who came to watch them sweat on stage.

Now, back in Gothenburg. I still recognize that it take some time to "arrive"! But it is nice to be back home. Especially now when the spring arrived in Gothenburg-Beach! That was also the reason why we've started the BBQ-season yesterday! That´s GREAT !!!! ;O)

A little bit cold in the end, but anyway!

Ha D Gott,

Lonely days in Tegnérsgatan...

You might wonder why it's been ever so quiet on the Tegnersstrassen Blog within the last couple of days. There is mainly one reason: our assiduous Mr. Blogwriter The Great Conin is on tour with the Friday Night Preachers. It's been tough for me to say goodbye and let him go for two weeks, but also for him as you can see on the picture.
Also the Fastén decided to abandon us for a while and go on tour in Germany. And all that even though the winter finally seemed to be willing to make up for it's shortfalls during "winter" here
In order to compensate for the resulting lack of the extraordinary music spirit that usually fills our place, we allowed Humanzi to enter RockHostel-Tegnersstrasse and stay for a night. Crazy guys. I think the word "irish" describes them best. Here you can see them preparing for their show in Sticky Fingers.

It was really a cool show and they are nice guys after all. If you tell them not to urinate on your couch, you can even be sure that they won't do so!

I don't have a lot more to say here. The Conin and Fastén will hopefully be back soon (hopefullier they will be back even with some good german Beck's). Until then enjoy a small piece of our fabulous easter decorations
/Simon
